KZ Architecture
KZ architecture is at the forefront of sustainable building practices in the State of Florida. Our design team is committed to finding sustainable solutions for many of our projects by following LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) guidelines from the USGBC (United States Green Building Council). These include-- among other strategies and goals-- the optimization of energy consumption, the use of alternative energy sources, the reduction of potable water waste, the improvement of indoor air quality and the utilization of environmentally preferred products.

The Boano Lowenstein Residence is the first house in Dade and Broward Counties to achieve Silver LEED Certification as well as Gold Certification from the FGBC (Florida Green Building Coalition).
